The house has a big bi-fold window and bi-fold doors off the main living space which open out onto a deck. There's also a fire inside the house which warms the whole house in winter. Laundry is in the garage.

The house is a 5-minute walk to The Tannery and The Brewery. Woolston is close to the city, hills and a 10-minute drive to Brighton and Sumner beaches and Lyttelton. The house overlooks a river and park, and there's walks and bike tracks in all directions.
