This is a room rental in a Devonport Villa. We are a family with Mum, Dad and 10-year-old son at home, sometimes our older son (23). We have two guest rooms.

The villa is warm and cosy and been renovated, though we still have a few things to complete, like the deck, front steps, and landscaping. It is well-insulated and has heating, two bathrooms and two toilets. The living area is spacious, light and bright, with a spacious lovely kitchen.

We both work full time, one of us from home often. We would welcome a homestay single or potentially a couple.

Our villa has a verandah with view to Takarunga, Mount Victoria. It's close to the ferry building with easy access to the city, or has good off-street parking if required.

It's a less than 5-minute walk to Devonport Village where there are shops, cafes, restaurants, a movie theatre, gym, beach etc

Close to the beautiful beaches of Devonport - Devonport Beach, Torpedo Bay, Cheltenham, Narrow Neck.

The room is a lovely one, in the character part of the house. It has two traditional villa sash windows that create a lovely breeze through, and beautiful light and warmth. It has a view from one window across to Takarunga, Mount Victoria.

This room is ideal for one guest (though two have stayed before) - it has an antique double bed which is really more like a large single. We welcome people who are kind and respectful.
