Looking for a flatmate to join our quiet and relaxed home, just a 1-minute walk from Claudelands Event Centre and the Sunday farmers' market. We're on a peaceful street with plenty of on-street parking, and town is only a 20-minute walk away.

The house is shared with Colin, a self-employed designer/illustrator/artist who works from home, and Jay, a night owl and gamer who sleeps most of the day—so the place stays pretty quiet and chill. We also have Pippa, a sweet but shy pup who will warm up to a kind soul over time.

The house is owned by Colin’s family, so any issues or needs can be handled quickly.

We have a self-contained granny flat available, located just outside the main house. It’s a private room attached to the garage, which has been converted into a lounge/hangout space for whoever lives there. The main house is only a few meters away, where you’ll have access to two toilets, a shared bathroom, and the kitchen.

The space has room for a small fridge if you’d like to bring one, plus a tub with space for a toaster and kettle for easy tea/coffee setups. Fully furnished with a bed (can be removed if you have your own), couch, dresser, and a clothing rack trolley.

There’s also the option for Colin to move into the granny flat instead, meaning the new tenant could take a room inside the house—this can be discussed during the viewing.

Rent includes power and internet; food is up to each tenant.
