About the flat

Hi flat hunters,

We are looking for a new flatmate in our 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom in our Avondale home! The room is available now, but move-in date can be somewhat flexible for the right person.

About the house: the house is conveniently located within walking distance of Avondale train station, with bus stops directly opposite the house (for routes 195, 22R, 22N , 67A, and 67B). If you have a car, SH16 and SH20 are nearby and easily accessible. Off-street parking is also negotiable. Additionally, Pak’nSave, Oakley Creek, and Unitec are all within walking distance, as are several parks. The house is well furnished and has a fully-equipped kitchen as well as a mighty heat pump, washing machine, and dryer.

About the flatmates: we are three guy flatmates in their 20s and early 30s. All of us are full-time working professionals who are quite busy but enjoy a chat if we see each other in the evenings. We have a diverse range of interests and work in various fields.

About the room

The room is a huge-sized master bedroom with its own ensuite and a walk-in wardrobe (unfurnished). The room has many windows, including a very wide and fully-opening bifold window, meaning abundant light with an appealing garden outlook and a subtle sea view in the distance. The rent is $300 per week (excluding shared expenses), with stability guaranteed because the landlord is a family member of the head tenant.

Preferred flatmate

We are seeking someone in their early 20s to early 30s: a student, a working professional, someone on a working holiday visa…. We are flexible! What is very important for us is to find someone who is VERY clean, tidy, and considerate — fun without being a party animal! Ideally, we are looking for someone who is looking to move in for the long term, but we may consider a fixed-term stay of at least six months for the right candidate.
